Project Manager (Work From Home)

The Project Manager is in charge of planning, overseeing, and leading projects from ideation to completion. S/he is responsible for managing both resources and client expectations to ensure success of the project.

  • Meet with clients to gather requirements and define the project objectives, scope and deliverables;
  • Negotiates contracts and scope of the project with clients;
  • Draft project plan, including resource and risk plans, and budget estimations.
  • Collaborate with the client to ensure deliverables are within the applicable scope, time, and budget;
  • Allocate resources needed to attain project objectives and manage them in an effective and efficient manner;
  • Delegate tasks based on the team member’s individual strengths, skills, and experience levels;
  • Meet budgetary requirements and provide recommendations to resolve project constraints based on financial analysis and strategic planning; and
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards of project management throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • At least five (5) years experience in software development projects, with at least two (2) years in project management;
  • Strong leadership, communication, and contract and scope negotiation skills; and
  • Must have stable internet connection at home for the recruitment process and effective work from home set up.
Nice to have
  • Background in either Agile Software Development or the (Rational) Unified Process
  • Project Management certification (PMI or Prince 2)
