Calen Martin D. Legaspi, SCEA
Chief Executive Officer
Prior to O&B, Calen worked in Ayala Systems and was a freelance consultant and trainor. He is a graduate of the University of the Philippines, has taken units for a Masters in Computer Science as well as Business Administration in the same university. He is a Sun Certified Enterprise Architect for the J2EE platform, Certified Web Component Developer, and a Certified Java Programmer. He also co-founded PinoyJUG or the Association of Philippine Java Developers and served as the organization's president for six years.
In his spare time, he enjoys training in the martial arts, particularly Freestyle Wrestling, Muai Thai and Boxing.
Butch Landingin
Chief Technology Officer
Butch Landingin is the co-founder of O&B. He has been developing software for over twenty years, almost a decade of which he spent in the US, at Silicon Valley, mainly developing applications for the retail industry. An industry pioneer, he has been using Java and Linux even before their respective 1.0 releases, and even attended the very first JavaOne conference in San Francisco.
Butch’s advocacy in open source and the Agile methodology has made him a known resource person, coach, and evangelist in the Philippine IT industry. He graduated from the University of the Philippines.
Lorenzo Dee
Vice President, Consulting Services
Lorenzo Dee started his career in Orange and Bronze as a software architect, working on high-stakes projects for the biggest telco in the Philippines. He is also the co-founder of Haybol.ph, a site incubated by O&B in 2010. Haybol.ph is a Philippine real estate search engine that helps users find homes for sale and rent, and provides real estate information.
Prior to O&B, Lorenzo worked as a managing consultant and technical architect for Headstrong Philippines. He is a certified Scrum Master, a Certified Java Enterprise Architect, and graduated with a BS Computer Science Degree from De La Salle University.
Arthur F. Tyde III
Adviser and Former Board Member
Based in Manila and Singapore, Arthur is currently a Program Executive at Oracle Corp., creating pipeline and demand generation programs for High Performance, Cloud Computing and Big Data products across Asia Pacific. He also serves as a trusted adviser and enterprise architect to key accounts in the Government, Telecommunication and Financial Services sectors.
Prior to Oracle, Tyde raised venture funding from Silicon Valley venture capitalists Kleiner Perkins and launched Linuxcare, the Open Source industry’s first enterprise class support services organization. He later co-founded Sputnik Inc. – currently the leading Cloud based SaaS solution for deploying and managing large footprint commercial wireless networks.
After serving as Chief Technology Officer for the Linux Foundation, Tyde shifted focus to Asia Pacific - building sales organizations, re-seller networks and supply chain partnerships for several startup companies. He speaks frequently at technology and investment industry events and consults on investor relations, fund-raising, business building, tech sales, channel strategies, and the integration of emerging technologies.
Tyde is an adviser and board member to numerous companies in Open Source IT, alternative energy, medical technology and game systems.
