Agile Training

To quote the 2011 CHAOS Manifesto from the Standish Group, “The agile process is the universal remedy for software development project failure. Software applications developed through the agile process have three times the success rate of the traditional waterfall method and a much lower percentage of time and cost overruns.”

Agile Software Development was borne out of the frustration brought about by the deficiencies and faulty assumptions behind traditional software development approaches. This workshop explores the deficiencies and faulty assumptions behind traditional software development approaches and presents how the Agile approach corrects these deficiencies and faulty assumptions and adopts a more appropriate set of principles and values.

Trainees will be immersed in an effective combination of concepts behind different Agile methodologies, most especially Scrum and XP, to enable their first steps or further acceleration toward Agile adoption.

Orange & Bronze is one of the first companies in Asia to use and advocate Agile Software Development, and has been using it since our inception in 2005, back when Agile was still an emerging movement. This training course was developed and is taught by some of the Philippines' well-known and respected Agile coaches and practitioners, and uses the format trusted by some of the best companies in the Philippines.
